Hi, going back to the Sunset Beach development near Casablanca, have those people who have reserved paid their 2nd 20%, i believe that building work on site will be starting this month, has anyone been out to the site recently? Also as people maybe aware the block numbering has changed, i believe agents are writing to their clients to advise of these changes. Anyone any further news etc on this development?

Hi every body its been a long time since my last message but nothing seems to move that fast in Morocco.
I have paid my 2nd payment back in May 08 but had to ask 3 times for a receipt which ended up coming from Saffron and not Sunset Developments.
On there web site you will see photos of the ground breaking and the people involved and the plans for apartments etc.
My main concern is that no new photos seems to have been added showing on going work so if anyone has more info or photos this would be
very helpful.

All the best to everyone involved
Lee.

Yes, this is quite worrying, however ive seen the same happen with the websites of other developers, how many people are still in on this development? i think those people who have paid their 20% / 40% deposits really need to push their agents for some updates & some sort of security. i've sent an e-mail & am awaiting a reply.

Lets get this post moving, i suggest initally people who have bought here reply & then we can move forward.

Hello everybody

I must admit in these worrying times we all do tend to think the worst, but I have just got off the phone to a nice guy called Ben Jones At Saffron and he has been in touch with president and assured me its just a website problem. I would also like to mention a past conversation with Ben who said that if the worst was to happen then the land would belong to everyone that has invested in the build and it would be worth alot more than what is owed because of the planning permmision.

Lee, thats good to hear, i thought it would just be an issue with the website, but these are difficult times, from what I see / hear, people are not buying off-plan in many countries unlike the demand we saw in Morocco in 2006/2007, so we need to ensure we are kept updated as at the end of the day most people have paid 40%.
