Qatar, Doha general question for staying

Hi All,

We currently live in Shanklin IOW and are looking to move to Doha as I have been offered a job with Qatar Airways. We have lived in Sri Lanka for 2 years and Holland for 5 years so we are not too green but we always like to gather as much detail as poss.
We have a baby girl 2yrs (Sorcha) a another daughter (15) (kevin... ugh) not Siobhan really plus a dog called Pilzbry.
We have several questions about Doha.
1) Can we bring the dog into the country?
2) What are the best agents for accommodation?
3) Where is the best place to setup camp?
4) Are there any issues about mozzies and illness?
5) Is the redback spider a problem with kids ( me really I am so scared of the eight legged things, and I?m 42)

Any other help or advice of course would be very useful.......

I'm afraid I can't help with any of your questions specifically but I can tell you there's nothing wrong with being scared of spiders! Have you been told there are a lot of the beasts in Doha?
