actually since the whole intrest rate raise from inflation in Australia. Sydney property prices have been going down.
Also Sydney the population of Sydney is decreasing

have to say sydney property is a good long term investment but one thing is for sure they dont double every 7yrs more like 15yrs and at the moment with the australian dollars being so strong it is prohibiting foreign investors from entering the market - unless you are from japan , but that back fired last time

I've recently moved to Sydney and am keen to get into the investment market here. Still have to sell some prime seafront investment property in Cape Town, South Africa though.

It is great that the prices are down at the moment but I'm sure it will bounce back once the mass hysteria hits the media that the world wide economy is returning to normal/growth
