Information from guys live around the Obidos area

We will be moving to Portugal in Oct., we are having a house built on the outskirts of Cadaval, not far from Obidos ,beautiful place. Wondering if any other expats live in this area, this site has been a great help over the last few months, lots of helpful information.

Our builder is a local, so are our contacts, really honest and interested in what we have wanted to do, we gave them exactly our requirements, and ,after a few months, found a plot of land on a hill with fabulous views across the countryside, we are paying 250,000 euros for a 200 sq meter plot, plus 100 sq meters of building area under the 4 bedrooms, all en-suite. The price also includes a 10 -4 pool, fantastic quality, highly recommend the people we have used, they have been really good, have helped us right through the process.
