Apartment/house wanted for long term rent in East Algarve

Hi all,
Myself and my husband are hoping to relocate to Portugal and are looking for long term lets (apartment or house) for 6-12 months in or around Olhao, Moncarapacho, Estoi, Quelfes - does anyone know of anything that may be available from about Oct onwards, or any agencies, etc we could contact

I am new to the forum but was wondering if you did in fact get sorted out with an apartment in aloha, as I have one myself that is available.
Minutes from the waterfront and the old town, it's on the ground floor.

Saul, I too have a ground floor apartment minutes from the seafront in Olhao.
I'm just wondering should we swop notes and stay in touch in case one of us got a 'spare' [double] booking?

Hi, I am looking for a long term 6-12 months, unfurnished 3 bed villa or apartment in the Algarve area. We are looking to move in the next couple of months, sooner if we can find somewhere....HELP...

evegang, there are numerous estate agents in places like Tavira & Monte Gordo offering rentals. Simply do a search or, better still, get over there. No substitute for actually visiting the area and seeing properties in the 'flesh'. Was over on a regular trip last week; lovely villa for sale, been on the market 12 months; why ? - right next door to a beer distribution depot, which, of course, you wouldn't know from the advertising blurb.

We are planning to go over but i was wanting to have at least some viewings lined up. I was also wanting to know if anyone knew any agencies so we were not going to waste our time..
