You will do that and probably learn some things, see some controversy, and some pretty cutting remarks, but all the fun of the forum. Free flowing dialogue.

Default Hi - Vicens Ash Properties S.L.

Hello,
I'm Sarah from Javea, Alicante province on the Costa Blanca. I have been living in Spain for 20 years now - grew up here and have been weaned on Spanish real estate!

We have a bilingual team, are English-Spanish and we do all the legal work free of charge AND we probably have one of the biggest property databases in the area.

Hello Darren

I have just joined the Forum. I have been trying to sell an apartment in Alcossebre for about a year now and was interested to read the comments from another person trying to sell a property in the same area who has much disbelief in the local agents there. I also never get any feedback from the agents and have now lowered the price 3 times. We are with two reputable agents but it is difficult to maintain any control as we have been living and working in Mallorca for the past year and are now in the Caribbean for the winter season. We would wish to sell the apartment in Alcossebre in order to buy something in Mallorca when we return in a few months. Incidentally, we hear much about 100% mortgages in Mallorca but were told that it was impossible to get one even if we registered as residents. Is this true? Your opinion and comments would be much appreciated.

100% mortgages at the moment are nigh on impossible, even as residents there are so many stipulations, but you would have to be at least a first time buyer and under 35, and employed (definitely not self employed)

Apologies in the lengthy delay. The market in Spain is bad, the route to all success is to work and be creative, using agents is one way, it is a shop window, there must be other ways, eg. Internet, making ones property attractive by getting a bank valuation and selling below that, putting up your own ads, doing newspapers etc, If you are keen to sell you will.

We are starting to do auctions for distressed sales or people who wish to liquidate so if yours is 25% plus below bank valuation and is clean and clear title and all documents are in order we could take to auction.
