Have you seen a Polaris world development very tacky indeed.
My wife and I bought at Polaris World and are very happy indeed. We went with Parador but did not buy while on the trip with them. I checked prices direct with PW and also with a few other agents and they were all the same so we decided to buy with Parador as it had been them that showed us the prject.

I don't, therefore, really understand Andy2k's point. If we saw that their (Parador's) prices were higher then it would make sense, but they seemed to offer the same as everyone (Including the developer). Just cos they're big doesn't in itself mean they're problematic. I mean, I'd rather fly with British Airways then with a little 2 plane outfit. They have more to lose and also, ultimately, you have more to sue out of them!

Good luck whatever you do!

Polaris World is a beautiful group of resorts offering excellent 2nd homes and have numerous services which are second to none, they hold roughly 30% residential homes on thier resorts, they will have a excellent rental return as Polaris World in Murcia is the Disney World to Florida. Big problem is Capital appreciation Polaris World is a long term investment for capital appreciation as they are selling property cheaper now than they were 18 months ago. Which is wonderful from a business perspective as they have reduced costs cut out expensive suppliers and produced thier own raw materials.

These Resorts will be beautiful an excellent place to vacate, and 2nd to none 2nd homes, but will take a long time gain a lot of capital(maybe not on paper but try sell it at the value it will have increased by)

Man made islands are at the planning stage off the coast of Valencia but I can't see that happening in all honesty. Polaris World are NOT involved in this project and I'm not aware of any other offshore project. The developer in the Valencia project is called Redis6 and its called Luna de Valencia.
Polaris World certainly are building properties around lakes on their golf courses, and they certainly do have a phase of apartments called La Isla del Condado, but its not a Dubai style man-made island.

Yes you're right barry - all of the polaris resorts are based around golf courses and are between 5 and 15 mins drive from the coast. But the lake you mention is massive - I can't rember the statistics but its something like the size of 10 football pitches.

Hi there anna2,
The properties at La Isla del Condado are located around "El Gran Lago", at Condado de Alhama and would be accessed via a bridge and access control point. 396 properties in total and man-made so I suppose not dissimilar to your original post earlier. I just assumed you meant a man-made island in the sea.
Hasta luego

Go and have a look at the site....Conado de Alhama is very good location and it is going to be very good
Starting prices are quite good ...you can get a nice 2 bed maisonette from 119.800 € [ cheaper 1 beds] and they go up to footballers price of 1.592.600 €!
Building has started and I can arrange for you to be shown around
