Hi All,
This is my first post. I was contacted by ready rental property with the same sort of articulated spiel "we need more properties on the books"

At first glance this seems a good idea, somebody else doing all the leg work for a change. However I am a bit warey about handing over the management for at least a year. When I enquired what their prices for gardening and pool maintenace they could not provide any figures. I was told that the initial cost would be around 1100euros which would be returnable if no bookings were made, but I could expect around 17 weeks of rentals a year but with no promises. I've managed to surpass that figure on my own. What also concerns me is that I can not find any terms and conditions about the contract. Has anyone seen these?

In theory if I signed up, i would be paying 1100 euros and if no bookings started to appear from the partner companies then I would have to find my own. So every booking I make i will also have to pay 5% to ready rentals, also have to pay the maint fees and they would keep the 1100E as I have taken bookings. therefor they get money for doing nothing.
This is just my take on the situation and I would love to be proved wrong and hear from anyone who is using them and is seeing good returns. Apparently they are partners with the onholidaygroup, who also ask for rentals so it might be worth speaking direct to them.

I think you should do a lot of research about these people before giving them any money!!

And unless you are a 100% certain that they will do a good job....carry on yourself...1100 € can be used for more portal advertising

I've been shopping around for a good company to deal with my the place I have just bought in Vera, Ready Rental are one of the people I am looking at along with Solutions Overseas and Overseas Keys, has anyone had good dealings with any of them.
At the moment I am more swayed towards Overseas Keys because of the booking system they are offering which appears to be a live system which I can check from home without calling and the fact they wont charge me for owner bookings just for cleaning. I know it costs money, but then they are offering to do a lot of set up and provide me with a booking system that I wont have the hassle of keeping updated like the holiday letting sites.
