Before you invest in property you should check to see if they actually have the property built. A lot of Thai projects are just pretty brochures, blue prints and auto cad drawings. They don't have any real houses built. What they need is for people to put down money so they can get the project off the ground or for enough people to put deposits down before the bank is willing to help finance the project
Whatever you do, be careful when you invest money in Thailand.
After the crash of 97 banks are really reluctant to invest in speculative real estate projects so the builders have to get their financing from the buyers or their own resources
It's truly "let the buyer beware" territory
It's much better to buy an exisiting villa or a project that has already been built out
There are people who have put down deposits on villas but are still waiting for their work to get started.
This is not to say anything at all about the posters project. It may be just fine. But make sure you do your homework.
Don't ever buy anything sight unseen. A fancy real estate brochure or a slick 3 D video is no subsitute for brick and motar
