I am really interested in investing in Turkey but I am more interested in Istanbul than the coast. At least this is where everyone seems to be tipping as the new growth area. Although there are hundreds of new developments to choose from on the coast I can only find a couple of British companies that seem to operate in Istanbul. One is dqdx and the other is. Does anyone know anything about these outfits and are there any others that have a presence in Istanbul?

Before developments are marketed, due diligence is carried out to ensure there is a clear title deed and that a building license has been granted.

Like many other emerging property markets, some ill-advised and naive people have fallen victim to unscrupulous builders. You must always use an independant solicitor ( one that has no connection to the developer of the agent) I can recommend a good solicitor and can recommend several investment properties in Istanbul and other regions.
