Default Buy Back Offers....need advice/answers

Hi,

I need to know the legitamcy of these offers as some go up to 50% in 6 months in Ajman. Does anyone have first hand experience in this? Is there something we should consider before buying into this? I havne't been able to find enough information on this type of financing strategy on the net.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I am also getting involved in the buyback offer in Ajman..
the pre-requisites should clearly be:
1) a well defined MOU with dates and figures indicated
2) a post dated chq for the guarenteed amount on the date indicated
3) detailed analysis on developer... ie are they a small time player who could afford to scam someone and run away?

in all three cases the developer i am working with has proven sound...
within the next week i'll be making the investment...

Could you tell me which buy back investment you chose? I would love to check it out. I'm looking at the Al Barakah developments in Ajman, providing 50% in 6 months.

These developers are nearly bankrupt. They are making schemes to get money to keep operating. When they are officially bankrupt, how will they give you your money back? What are the laws in UAE about contracts, post dated checks etc..?
