What I would like to know is whether this seems like a fair price or not? I am pretty new to this so any advice from people who have bought these would be great.

Thanks
Apts 219 and 518 in Block A and apts 205, 206, 305 and 306 in Block B, all with sea/pool views were available at a little less than 1200 AED per sq ft as of Monday. So, the price for Block G apt that you are talking about seems high. One other variable though is the payment plan. Do check it all out.

Virtually any agent will give you these prices. If, however, you still need names, pl put your eMail ID and I will send you a mail next week.

Default Oyster Residence:La Hoya Bay 4th floor:Sale 1150/sqft

Dear all -

I have seen various quotes of 1500 / 1350 / 1420 / 1200 for current prices on La Hoya Bay. Some developers are charging higher dirhams per square foot for good views.

Have only around 5 properties (left) on Oyster residence , La Hoya Bay on the 4th Floor all with sea views. We are selling at 1150 dirhams per square foot and as you can imagine they are going fast!.

Properties are 4 x studios and 1 x bedroom. Studios are roughly 570 sq ft. 1 bed is 1557 sq ft.

Payment plan 30 % by September 2008 (possible flexibility) and remaining 70% on completion. 3 years guaranteed 8% rental income.

Price increase due around July, cannot guarantee how much this is but by the end of the year we expect these properties to be trading around 1600 dirhams / sq ft.

Anyone interested let me know asap. Mail direct to omarwazir (@) hotmail . com to discuss.

Kind regards,

Omar

Hello All,
I am purchasing an apartment in La Hoya Bay through Select property; I have still not had my signed contract back from Khoie after 6 months! On top of this I have had a phone call from a Select property director saying that Khoie are going to change the terms of the contract by removing the offer of an escrow account. Does anyone else know about this and can anyone offer some advice. As yet I have not been contacted over this matter by Khoie.
Many Thanks
Bruce

Default select property

I've always found select property very good.Their base is in cheshire in UK.

I've now paid all monies thru an escrow account, much safer and in fact any good development will have one.Is it now now a law of the land for all developments.
check their web site.

In RAK, the government has two criteria for developers: either they go through escrow or they need a bank guarantee for the value of the project, in the case something goes wrong.
