Selling my property whilst abroad issues - advice sought

Sorry if these are daft questions, but this is the first time I am selling a house and I have a few questions, which I've no doubt someone here can answer.

I live in Spain and am just about to put my house on the market. I have renovated the house, but I need to return to Spain just before finishing the work.
My questions are:

Can I manage the sale whilst abroad? I don't want to return if I can help it.

Should I be concerned about the house being empty and it being occupied by squatters? The house will be visited every day or two and will have a burglar alarm fitted and working.

Do I need to use the same solicitors that drew up my will for the conveyancing, bearing in mind they are in possession of the deeds to the house? I might want to use another solicitor to do the conveyancing as they are expensive.
