Default Good mortgage offer

I was getting the feeling, all mortgages added this charge, except I have found one that doesn't. Yorkshire building society on the mortgage I selected for an example came back with incentives being:

?400 cash back on completion
and we will pay the higher lending charge of ?2,460

So is it rare to find this?
Thanks
Bennett

well I doesn't know about this much. But, I can see that all of the banks have started cutting doen their intrest rates as the federtal banks and the all the cenral banks were decided to do so. This will have an positive impact on the markets.

Having just read the top 5 posts, all of which are your replies to 2 yr old posts - if you really must post, then, PLEASE check your spelling, pretty much every word is spelt wrong and its really annoying!

Actually, now I've continued reading the forum it seems you've been able to find something to say on every thread. Job Well done!

In my experiences of mortgage deals in the current climate most products cost a similar amount over the fixed term, it's just that the deals are structured differently, particularly a high LTV is concerned.

Find a low rate, there'll be a large product fee. Find a low product fee, the rate will be poor.

Wherever you see a 'good deal', look at all the information available. As has been well publicised recently banks are being incredibly cautious with their lending amounts are required credentials - I don't think you're going to see many deals where high LTV's are concerned, so I'm skeptical.

Chaz.

I would go to a broker. A friend of mine who has been in the mortgage market for 20 yrs says this is by far the worst he's seen in terms of conditions, but he also said that there are still some good deals to be had.

Mortgage deals are changing day by day at the moment depending on what lender wants to be market lender. Loan to values are dropping for buy to lets, ranging upto 75%. It is a case of finding the best deal which fits your proposed purchase. Accoring to required loan to value and rental income and your ability to pass the lenders credit score will decide which lender, if any, you should go to. Please contact me andyATcliftonmortgagesolutionsDOTcoDOTuk for upto date lender and product details.

In relation to the residential mortgage market buy to let mortgages have remained stubbornly high and look like they will stay that way until lenders have more confidence in it as a sector
