That is part of my point, hence people who's work have been moved from London to manchester and want to keep that job but dont want to move to manchester will need a one-bed to rent for the week before going to London for weekend.

Byt he way I studied 4 years in Manchester and with the right opportunity I wouldnt mind going back to live there

well after reading what you have wrote regarding buying of an 2 bed room flat in manchester , it's not an bad idea. But, look at the pirces of the property how they are clashing ,expected to be more clashing in the new year. I advise you to wait and buy an appartment.

If I were you, I would steer clear of Moss Side, Hulme and that area, if in the future, you wish to sell the house, you will find it very difficult indeed. May I suggest you try Salford, (Ordsall ), it is an up and coming city, there are lots of businesses in and around Trafford etc, and as far as I know, the rents are high, I don't think you would have any problems renting there as there are a lot of proffessional people nearly always looking for places to stay, but may I give you some advice, that is whoever you have as a potential tennant, check them out, check their referenceetc, and make sure you get at least one months rent in advance.......Good Luck to you.
