Rent or Buy in Coventry / Warwickshire

Hello everybody.
I currently live in Spain and I have two similar job offers, one in Coventry and another in very a central London location. Pay is about 33K GBP (plus London allowance). I'd be interested in hearing opinions about cost and quality of life in Coventry and Warwickshire. In particular I'm looking to rent or buy in Leamington Spa, south Coventry, or Warwick. How's life there? What are the good areas to live in? Any input is welcome,

Hi Logan,

I am originally from Leamington Spa, but moved to Middlesex about 2 1/2 years ago. If I had the choice I would much prefer to live in Leamington. I didn't appreciate how nice it was until I moved down here. The house prices in Leam are quite expensive. But you can get a much more reasonable house in Coventry, which is what a couple of my friends have had to do to get on the property ladder as they can't afford to buy in Leam.
