Default Uk Tax Liability

Hey Guys,
I'm considering the possibility of moving to Greece with my partner. I don't see how I would be able to find a job there though, given the economy, my grasp of the language, and my skill set.

My (very provisional) plan is to come back to the UK for a total of maybe 20 weeks a year to work on contracts in the IT industry.

My question is: does anyone know who my tax liability would be to in this situation? Presumably I would only have to pay tax once (?) but would I fall under UK or Greek legislation.......

Obviously I should get proper tax advice before going ahead with this, but I wondered if anyone knew anything about this, or had done something similar. How I pay the Property Tax in advance?
Thanks in advance

Default talk to an expert

You do need to talk to an expert BUT I will give you an idea:-

You could be offshore for tax purposes if you register in another country, you could set up an offshore company and trade from that....make sure you don't come onshore (to the UK) for more than the maximum permitted.

Regards
Lee
