Default Moving to Warwickshire in UK need advice

Hello all,
I am moving to Warwickshire for a job located in Bedworth and I am looking for advice on which areas to look for a rental property...i.e. where is nicest to live. I will also not have a car for sometime, so I need something on a bus route. Any ideas or advice is appreciated.
Regards

Hi Avery,

I know the area a little bit. It depends what you are looking for in terms of your lifestyle. There are some nice villages around the area. Nuneaton and Bedworth are OK but parts of both of them have reputations that aren't great (like anywhere I guess!) Places like Kenelworth are nice as is Warwick itself and these aren't far and are more like little towns - both quite affluent and pretty. Royal Leamington Spa is also nice! Coventry is the nearest City and has apartments and house shares I'm sure. It has a bit of a run down image within the UK but this is a little unfair as it going through some regeneration at the moment. It was almost completely destroyed in the 2WW due to air attacks and so was rebuilt in the 50's and 60's so became a bit of a modern impersonal place. Glad to say this is changing. Birmingham is commutable and is the biggest city in the area. Super shopping and nightlife but further away.

You should be able to get trains rather than buses in the short term. Try logging onto www.thetrainline.com Pick an area and see if a train goes to Bedworth, it gives journey times so you can get an idea of the distance.

See you soon
